A little background about The Commonwealth Tattoo...

Having just moved to San Diego from Oceanside, with the long-term goal of opening his own tattoo shop, Jordan Pundik made frequent trips to Dark Horse Coffee.  They had just opened a location in Golden Hill and Jordan knew this was an ideal location for his vision-with supportive local businesses and proud residents.  His dream of opening a shop was not just to have a space to tattoo from, but a place that would be a platform for him to become more involved in the community.

A beautiful space in the MXD830 building opened up and The CommonWealth Tattoo found a home.  The intention is to grow slowly, finding artists that are a perfect fit for the character of the shop which is art focused and supportive. For now tattoos are done by appointment only but check back often to find out what artists joined the family, who's guest spotting, and more.
